Privacy Policy
Last updated August 30, 2026
This policy explains how Salud Apptech, LLC (“Salud,” “we,” “us”) collects and handles personal information when an employer uses the Salud wellness rewards platform and when anyone visits trysalud.com.
Our role
Salud is sold to employers. When your employer runs a wellness program on Salud, the employer decides what activities exist, who participates, and what happens to the records. In data protection terms your employer is the controller of that information and we process it on their instructions. If you are an employee and want your record corrected or removed, start with your employer’s benefits administrator.
What we collect
From employees in a program. A name, a work email address, a department, a point total, and a history of which activities were completed and when. That is the whole picture by design.
We do not collect health records. Salud holds no medical records, no insurance claims data, and no explanation of benefits. We do not connect to clinical systems. Completing an activity is recorded as a confirmation and an approval, not as a medical file.
Where an employer enables document upload. This is off by default. Where an employer turns it on, uploaded files are encrypted, served through short-lived links, excluded from exports and logs, access logged on each view, and deleted on a retention timer while the points record survives.
From visitors to this site. If you submit the demo form, we collect the name, work email, company, company size, and any notes you provide, so that we can reply.
How we use it
- To run the wellness program your employer has set up
- To calculate points, tiers, and rewards, and to issue a reward
- To show your employer participation and fund reporting
- To respond to a demo request you sent us
- To keep the service secure and to meet our legal obligations
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for advertising, and we do not use employee wellness data to build advertising profiles.
Who we share it with
Between companies, never. Each employer sees only its own employees, activities, and funds. Separation between customers is enforced in the system and tested deliberately.
We share information with service providers who help us operate: hosting and infrastructure, email delivery, and the gift card supplier that issues a reward at the moment an employee redeems it. Each receives only what is needed for that task. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
Rewards and money
Salud does not hold funds and does not store payment card or bank account details for employees. A gift card code is generated by our supplier at the moment an employee chooses to redeem, and we keep the record of what was issued.
How long we keep it
We keep program records for as long as your employer’s account is active, and afterwards only as long as we need to for legal, accounting, or dispute reasons. Employers can ask us to delete their data when they leave. Demo requests are kept while we are in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards.
Security
Information is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to people who need it, exports are logged, and administrative actions are written to a record that cannot be edited. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
Your choices
Employees can see their own points and history in Salud. Depending on where you live you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Because your employer controls the program record, we will usually direct these requests to them and support them in responding.
For anything about this site or a demo request, write to privacy@trysalud.com.
Cookies
This marketing site uses only what it needs to function. We do not run advertising trackers on it.
Children
Salud is a workplace product and is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change, and will revise the date above. Material changes affecting an employer’s account will also be communicated to that employer directly.
